The Gesellschaftshaus am Klosterbergegarten in Magdeburg, which consists of several annexes, was reopened to the public in 2005 after several years of restoration. The neoclassical part of the building, designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in 1824 and completed in 1829, had already been extensively renovated in 2003. For this purpose, the extremely damaged, cream-white brick facade was completely completed with new, reproduced, color-matched three-quarter bricks.
